Grafana

Integrating with Grafana Alerts

Grafana is an open source metric analytics & visualization suite. It is most commonly used for visualizing time series data for infrastructure and application analytics but many use it in other domains including industrial sensors, home automation, weather, and process control.
Alerting in Grafana allows you to attach rules to your dashboard panels.
When you save the dashboard Grafana will extract the alert rules into a separate alert rule storage and schedule them for evaluation.

Integrating with Grafana Alerts Using Web Collector

SignifAI Web Collector integrates with Grafana Alert notification to provide you fast correlation and root-cause detection to events happening across your applications and infrastructure.
SignifAI Insights & Answers® engine process all of Grafana’s alerts and provide you with more insightful information.

Web Collector Installation

  1. Log in to your Grafana Portal and choose the Alerting option. Make sure you are using Admin permissions.
  1. On the Grafana Notification Channels page hit the New Channel button to go the the page where you can configure and setup a new Notification Channel.

  2. Choose Webhook. The webhook notification is a simple way to send information about an state change over HTTP to a custom endpoint. Using this notification you could integrate Grafana into SignifAI.

  1. Log in to the SignifAI Sensors section, choose the Grafana integration.
Click the Copy to Clipboard button and paste the web collector URL inside Grafana’s webhook.
